For Fall-Winter 2010/2011, John Galliano was inspired by nature & exotic flowers, as well as Mr. Dior’s love of gardening. Part of Galliano’s research for this collection involved studying real flowers. Galliano, for instance, spent an hour watching the light change on a parrot tulip. «The fronding, the feathering, the ruching, the ruffling—all duplicated the extraordinary intricacies of flowers.»
