3.11. Check of a suspension bracket and steering system

Check of a suspension bracket and steering system (after the first 10 000 km or in 12 months) *

SAAB recommends conducting this check only after the run of the first 10 000 km, however many owners of cars prefer to make this check regularly with an interval of 20 000 km along with the procedures provided in the Section Steering Check, a suspension bracket and shock-absorbers.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Cock the emergency brake and a poddomkratta a forward part of the car, then strongly install the car on axial props.
2. Working under a forward part of the car, check reliability of fastening of all bolts and nuts of a suspension bracket and steering system. If necessary make retightening of fixture with the required effort given in the Head Podvesk and steering. Also check reliability of tightening of nuts / bolts of a forward suspension bracket in a motive compartment and nuts / bolts of a back suspension bracket in the back luggage compartment.
3. In conclusion lower the car on the earth.
