15.1. General information

The forward suspension bracket is completely independent, in it McPherson's racks and the stabilizer of cross stability are used. Screw springs and the combined gas-oil shock-absorbers of double action in one assembly are a part of racks. Shock-absorbers are an integral part of the case of a rack, however can be easily replaced after an assembly partition with use of the tool for compression of springs. Racks rest against mudguards and the top parts of rotary fists of the steering mechanism which are in turn located on the lower cross levers of a suspension bracket.

Forward naves of a pribolchena to rotary fists of the steering mechanism also comprise two-row (with two flutes) the ball bearings which are continuously greased, not subject to service. External power shafts are fixed in naves by means of the only nut and a persistent washer.

The lower levers of a suspension bracket are manufactured of stamped steel and blocks are attached to a car stretcher through soylent. Spherical support fix suspension bracket levers to rotary fists of the steering mechanism.

The back suspension bracket is arranged in the form of the rigid, placed in a pipe axis strengthened on the top and lower levers of a suspension bracket, the lower levers also serve as support for screw springs. The top levers (jet bars) provide a steady position of an axis without restriction of the course of a suspension bracket, providing resistance to the twisting caused by braking. Horizontal fixing of an axis is reached by means of the cross bar screwed between a tube of an axis and a suspended bracket on the car case. The stabilizer of cross stability and shock-absorbers are fixed by the general brackets on the ends of a pipe of an axis.

Arms of back plugs are established from each party of a pipe of an axis and comprise short pins on which naves of wheels are established.

Steering with the rack mechanism and hydrostrengthening is established on all models of the car. The steering rack in essence is the piston in the hydraulic cylinder which is put in action mechanically, by means of a gear gear wheel, and hydraulically, under pressure of the hydraulic liquid given by the pump of system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel. The two-level steering column is jointed by means of the cardan hinges transferring the effort made for a steering wheel to a gear wheel and the operating valve of supply of hydraulic liquid to a steering rack. At turn of a steering wheel the valve directs liquid to the relevant party of the piston, moving it linearly - putting forward or moving the steering drafts attached to the ends of a lath. Steering drafts are attached to rotary fists of the steering mechanism by spherical hinges and change an angle of rotation of wheels.

The design and arrangement of a steering column are arranged in such a way that in case of front blow the column extinguishes blow in process of the longitudinal destruction, and also deviates the driver aside.

The pump of system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel is installed outside on the block of the engine and is put in action by an auxiliary driving belt.
